Win 1903 Auto 22

I just got it today from my uncle, All I know is it takes 22 Win auto ammo witch is differant from 22 LR, So does any one here have one or know about this rifle.

I have one. They are very interesting. Ammo is $1 per round from the cheapest online source I've seen.

That makes it more interesting for looking at than shooting for me.

I just found some ammo at $.75 per round, looks like it will be a wall hanger

I have a friend that has one - fun to shoot, almost makes no noise. He actually had some old ammo, but we bought him some of the Old Western Scrounger ammo for Christmas a couple of years ago, and it wasn't cheap.

I own one made approx 1905.It was my first 22 and I shot the hell out of it. Then found out the ammo was almost $1.50 a box! (1959)I went out and got a new 22 that would be cheaper to shoot. Still have the original take-down carry case.
I will hand it down when my time comes.Somethings you have to keep in the family.

When I read the title, I thought it was talking about a way to win a 1903 Auto 22. Darn it.

I don't think you would want to win it at the price of ammo these days unless you wanted it to just sit there which is a shame.
