I'll check the local Walmart but no promises of finding ammo.

If the goal is to empty the shelves of ammo suppliers, this must have been National Ammo Year.

Went to Walmart today! They had a huge sign that said

National Ammo Day! They had the shelves completely stocked.I bought 2 bricks of .22,4 boxes of .40 and 4 boxes of .45's! When I went to pay I said I must be dreaming the clerk looked at me and said you are. Then I woke up! Dammit!!

The goal of National Ammo Day is to empty the ammunition from the shelves of your local gun store, sporting goods, or hardware store)

Looks like they have done it already!!!!

NAD doesn't make much sense in today's economic/political climate.

As other have stated, we are in a continuous gun/ammo buying frenzy, to the point where prices have been driven up too much.

I am going to boycott NAD. If others let up on their ammo buying, prices may fall, just like with gas when we stop driving as much.

Sounds like something the ammo companies thought up before the frenzy. Just like Valentines day and all the other hallmark days.

I don't know about the rest of you, but my wife would prefer ammo over flowers and cards on Valentine's Day.
