    Another question for TacSol owners.

I going shooting tomorrow and I was reading the manual this morning when I noticed that my bolt might be missing a part. On the manual provided by tacSol there seems to be a washer or buffer that needs to go somewhere between the plastic tube and bolt.

And I found this in the internet, insert seems to be made of rubber.

This image shows the correct assembly of the Tactical Solutions AR22 upper internal frame / bolt / guide rod / buffer. Note the 'e'-clip that is used to retain the guide rod.

And I found this at Sniper's Hide. Insert looks like a washer.

    you are ok.

in your fisrt pic i see that you have the "e-clip"/retainer ring thing in that slot all the way to the right.

and for the rubber part on the spring, my new upper looks the same way.

how did it shoot? what ammo did you use?

i still need to shoot mine.

      .
      Yours have the rubber?

Mine doesn't have the rubber washer. I'll just head to Home Depot and get an O-ring.

I haven't shoot it yet, I was waiting for some reply.
      Thanks for posting.

I just checked mine, it looks identical to yours, vega. Haven't had any problems in 1000+ rounds, so get out there, shoot it, and have fun!

Thanks for taking the time to check your bolts. I'll re-schedule shooting next week.

I sent an email to TacSol yesterday and I got an answer this morning. That is one feature that was taken out, they should update their manual. That's what I get for reading manuals....
