Need help on Smith and Wesson 22A 22LR

So I took my 22A out today. First 20 rounds were ok. Then fired a round but bullet never left my barrel but shell was ejected. After pushing the ammo out. I tried to load some more but next ammo does not want the feed through the chamber(barrel) it is flushed out about 1 to 1.5 cm. I was using Remington Thunderbolt. I tried loading CCI Mini Mags but same issue. What can be wrong? I dont know If its worth it to take to gunsmith or is it now a barrel problem that I need to replace possibly upgrade to bull barrel. I have the stock 4" barrel on it.Thanks
