Spikes upper or the whole gun?

Does anybody out there have any info on the Spikes stuff? I am considering them since I am not to impressed with the Colt/Walther set up.

I like the thought of a dedicated upper and lower from the same place and I can set it up like my duty rifle and training/shooting won't bust the bank. But then again just the upper is less $.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

i would do a search in the forum for "Lowers" or "Spikes lowers" in this forum. I was considering the same thought and came across post in the forum covering issues you would need to resolve with a dedicated upper and standard lower. The issues are not show stoppers just cost increasers.
