Getting back into .22

Recently because of all the ammo shortages and such I have been shooting more .22. And I have to admit, I really enjoy it. Last week at the desert we shot about 5 times as much .22 and everything else and it was fun.

So much fun that I think I am going to plan a rimfire only trip in a few weeks.

So anyone else love the .22 caliber? I can't seem to get enough of it. I even just bought a 22/45 that I picked up yesterday. I can't wait to shoot it.

You're in the right place....welcome to the Rimfire section. Yes .22's are just as addictive as centerfire's. Just like anything else you can really get carried away and spend just as much money on a .22 as you would any other type of firearm. I love rimfires! I re-discovered them a few months ago and have been addicted ever since. I need to pick up some steel spinners for my 22lr's.

My second 10/22 build was going to be in that same Bell & Carlson stock. I also had a very similar barrel. I went with the Green Mountain 20" blued fluted.

The more calibers I shoot, the more I love .22LR. I carry a 9mm off duty and a .45 on duty and am confident in my choices for those roles, but for just plain fun and good times, you can't beat a carbine or rifle in .22LR!
