Mag for AR22 conversion

I'm planning to buy a TacSol upper since I cannot afford a Umarex/Walther/Colt rifle and I wouldn't like people calling it pot metal. Also I couldn't wait for CADOJ to add the M&P15-22 to the list of approved rifle for sale in CA.

Does anyone own or tried this mag and how well does it perform?

There is no "approved list" for rifles, especially rimfire, in CA.

All you need are 10 round magazines, which can be had here: http://rrages.com/magazine/15-22/index.htm

^^ those mags probably will not work with a Tac Sol Upper.

BDM mags are pretty much the Industry standards for dedicated uppers and conversion kits.

And from that link, you do see they're having the Uppers on sale right? And that'll also include one Black Dog Mag.

afro- If you do a search here at Rimfire forum someone mentioned that and most members here will know I'm just ribbing someone else ribs.

So from what I can see from your link a S&W magazine will work on a TacSol upper? I guess you have a TacSol upper with S&W mag?

Sorry, lol. I just get tired of hearing about it and kind of knee jerk post.

Also, the Smith mags are proprietary. BDM mags are Ciener style mags and work with AR22 conversions (Spikes, TacSol, etc.).

Trapshot - I'll be getting the upper from them.

Why would it not work if that's the same mag that will come with the upper?
I'm just 1 button away to finalize this order.

You confused my post. Or maybe I didn't write it non-confusingly. The S&W mags will probably not work with the TacSol upper. The first part of the message was to afro.

I got the upper and three extra BDM mags from the promotion/deal/site. Very happy with it.
