Old 22LR Rifles and PPT question

I was wondering if california has any crazy laws against buying older .22 rifles from out of state, like they have with handguns. I am aware of the CA safe gun list, so I can't for example buy a nice model 15-3 S&W from out of state. Is there a restriction on buying say a nice 30 year old 9422 winchester? The first gun I ever shot was my uncle's 9422 so I'd like to get my hands on one!

The "CA safe gun list" is actually called the "Roster of Handguns Certified For Sale".

Long guns aren't regulated so long as they are not "assault weapons" or use a magazine whichs hold more than 10 rounds. The FFL doesn't list anything more than "long gun" on the DROS.

Don't think you could classify a lever action as an assault weapon. Haha. Thanks

Just needs to be transfered through a CA FFL dealer.
