    CMMG ARC-22 Conversion

I came across a good deal for it ($80 w/ 10 rd mag). I wanted to know if these conversion systems were compatible w/ BDM mags.

Also, which ammo worked best on your AR? Is it as accurate as .223 between 50-100yds?

    80$? WOW.. screaming deal.

I've already got a dedicated AR-22, but I'd pick up a conversion at that price just to have.

Anyways, yes, 100% compatible with BDM's. In fact, CMMG's mag is a BDM copy/clone.

Ammo that works best: Walmart/Federal Bulk, both the brown box 550pack and the white box 350 pack (auto match) work great!

Most of the high velocity ammo will do you good, 1260fps and up. Like bdsmchs said the wallyworld bulk federal packs will do. Its the match type ammo or the lower velocity ammo that tends to cause ftf and cycling problems.. As accurate as a 223........ no. But fun none the less and a lot less costly.

Good deal. I paid $165 for mine with 2 mags. Mine has shot anything I have ran through it. Mainly federal and winchester value packs. Its accurate enough, especially if you want to use it as a CQB training tool, you'll never win a rimfire match with it! Mine will do about 4 moa if I work at it. I usually only use it if I'm shooting with 50 yards though.
