Phoenix HP22

Anybody know if you can shoot 22 shot shells in a Phoenix HP22 ?
I am thinking of getting one and am curious

The problem is the plastic capped type of shot shells commonly sold today are not strong enough to feed in most autoloaders without the plastic cap breaking.
If you slowly hand cycle these into the chamber, they can be fired, but they will not cycle the action.

The older all-brass-with-crimped-closed-mouths cases will usually hand feed without breaking. The problem here is ejection, as when the crimped mouth opens up and stretches out longer than the loaded round's length, it is often too long to extract far enough to eject properly.

I have an HP22 and it is a decent gun for the money.
For snake shot, small revolvers and single shot handguns and rifles seem to be best.
