Ithaca X5 lightning - serial number info?

wondering if any one can point me in the direction for Ithaca serial number info.
i tried http://www.diamondgunsmithing.com/ which seems to have info for most of their shotguns but couldn't find anything for the x5 lightning in .22lr

serial number is 1705-A

I can tell you one thing for sure--if it has a serial number, it ISN'T C&R qualified. Not much help, I know.....

lol thanks anyways guys. ill keep trying, might have to start asking around some gun stores/smithing shops to see if they might know.
