    SK Standard Plus 22lr. ammo

Just wondering is this ammo worth it's price... for a case of 5000rnds at $450.00. This is known to be a good lot. I look online but most places say no stock or back ordered. And if they have it by the time I pay for shipping it's more than the $450.00. If you had the chance to pick this up would you? Thanks

I would buy a brick first to see if your gun even likes it.

My savage MKll prefers blazer over wolf match.

every 22 I have shoots the SK resonably well, it is not the best in any of them compaired to the high dollar stuff buy will out shoot the cheap stuff by a good margin.

If its known to be a good lot then I might go for it. I was looking at this on Midway and based on the reviews ppl loved them...but then there were some who said they were garbage. I forget but if you look at the year of the review it seems like SK fell short.

I have some of it, it's ok I guess. I'll haven't tried it since I was breaking in my GSG5. I had less issues with federal bulk than that subsonic stuff in my GSG5. Then again I was using it during break in. It's kinda of oily / waxy so bring something to wipe your hands on after you load your mags.

Awesome. Best you can get for half the price of the next best. Haha, if tha tmakes any sense.

Buy it. If for some reason your rifle doesn't like it, you can sell it for the same price, if not more. I shoot a LOT of it and I'd pay that for it.

Yeah, this stuff is excellent in my Buckmark. Outshoots Federal Bulk, CCI Mini Mag, and Remington Golden Bullets by a noticeable margin. Makes me look good at the range.

                    Same ammo:

My Brno's love the WMT. Tough to beat for the price.

Wolf Match Target, which is the same as SK Jag Standard, works well in my CZ 452 and is my ammo of choice for silhouette matches with that gun. I buy it by the case from Champion (first case was $285, not that long ago ). Until I become a better shooter there would be no reason to spend more on a more expensive ammo. Off the bench, it will shoot a dime-size group at 50 yards.

That said, it may not do that well in your gun. .22's are particular about which ammo works best with them. Before I'd buy a whole case, I'd try to get my hands on a box or two to test it out.

Well here is the case I was talking about. I just cant afford the whole case and he is selling the thing as a case for now.
