Came across these, i doubt they would cycle in a semi auto but still cool for some plinking. These will definitely kill those pesky spiders in the corner of the livingroom.

No Gunpowder .22Lr Rounds

I have a 500rd box of the Aguila Colibri ammo. Comes in two "loads": 375fps and 500fps. Natchez's suggestion of shooting a .22LR in your living room is inadvisable. A 20grn lead bullet traveling at 375fps or 500fps can definitely do some damage.
I have shot them in my garage, and at 15ft, a 20grn bullet traveling at 375fps will bury itself in a wood beam. After seeing that, I wouldn't want to get shot by one.
Very cool to shoot though. Will not cycle a semi-auto at all. Quieter than an air rifle, if shot from a rifle. But loud if shot from a pistol with a 3" barrel.
Life can make you do many things, even kiss a man with a runny nose.

Have some of the 500fps loads. Stupid quiet with a suppressor on my P22. Will not cycle the action.Comment

I've used them for a couple of years in my Rossi Pump. Great little rounds.sigpic

I have 4000 or so rounds of these. I've been shooting them for the last five or six years. They are very fun in my Super 14 Contender. They are not ment for rifles because they can sqib easily but, they can be shot from them if you pay attention. They will not cycle any SA. BTW, my Benjamin .22cal pump air rifles deliver a lot more energy than these rounds do. So, I don't suggest using them on small game or pests that are over 25' away!NRA Certified Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor

Forgot to mention that, with only a 20grn bullet the overall round is shorter in length than a regular .22LR, so feeding from the mag can be troublesome, on both manually cycled SAs and bolt actions.

True, the OAL is shorter but, the brass is lr brass so, these can't be fired from a .22 short or .22 long, just .22 long rifle. Although you might experience feed problems in some mag fed guns, they work great in wheelguns and pumps.NRA Certified Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor

i have been shooting super colibris through my 10/22 for at least a few years. they are awesome, and pack more heat than a lot of pellet guns. ive gone head to head between the two into phone books, and the super colibri can kick some serious butt... they are certainly awesome. a little bit noisy in a handgun, but sound like a red ryder in a rifle almost... always good to have a box or two lying around...Comment

I have the Colibri (375fps) version and it packs more punch than my .177 pellet gun (which is about 1,000fps). Went through more pages of the phone book and had no problem putting an exit hole in a not-yet mature lemon while the pellet couldn't make the exit hole.
Works great in my 10/22, just use it like a bolt action and manually cycle them. Major problem is they drop like crazy.Everyone opposes judicial legislation until the judiciary legislates in their favor.Comment

I've seen several one-shot racoon kills at 40' with the 500fps Super Colibri's out of a lever action. I suspect they'd be deadly on small game to 100'.I have 4000 or so rounds of these. I've been shooting them for the last five or six years. They are very fun in my Super 14 Contender. Correction: The one shot kills were with CCI CB Long's, not Aguila Super Colibri's. Since I was thinking of the wrong ammo, you're most likely correct. 25' is probably the max effective range for pests."Show me a young conservative and I'll show you a man without a heart.
