Lightest? I don't know but, the old stand by Butler Creek is a lot better made than some of the others I've seen. It's the only one I use or would recommend to anyone.

Is a stock 10/22 barrel long enough for the butler creek folding stock to stay legal?
          Insert something clever here.

the 22lr rifles only have to be 26" OAL and not 30" because they are a rimfire..not sure if this was the exact question for 'is it still legal length?'

                  If so I apologise
On a side note if you want a light 1022,do a carbon fiber with liner barrel and then a ramline folder if you can find one...makes it weigh like 3-4 pounds...if that..wont even feel it if hiking or backpacking....just dont do rambo rapid fire bursts too long!

correct. with the bc folder, it's in the 26 1/4" neighborhood. clearly legal, but just barely.

also the ramline has this crazy feature they don't really advertize anymore

on the side of the stock there is a hole big enough to hold a box of 50 remington thunderbolts or similar size box

Hey I was just wondering how you permanently attached the flash hider to the stock barrel? I have the ATI Strikeforce stock on mine and I also wanted to permanently attach a flash hider on mine. My flash hider just has a set screw to keep it in place but it has fallen off everytime I go to the range.
And to address the OP's question it is def not the ATI Strikeforce Six Position Folding Stock!!! This thing is pretty heavy, but its Mall Ninja
                        to the fullest!!
