    ST-22 Firing pin

I recently had a firing pin go bad on my spikes st-22. I only have about 400 rounds through the gun. Needless to say I'm pissed. I contacted Spikes they said they'll send a new one out that was Monday. Still no pin so I cant go out this weekend.

My question is where can I get a firing pin from besides spikes. They want 17.00 for the pin plus 12.00 for shipping. UHHHHH I don't think 12 bucks to ship a firing pin is a fair price.

Thank you all for all your time and help.

No they are sending one for free but I have no confirmation of that, so I was just gonna order one so if spikes did send one I'd have a back up.

Now I'm just looking for a decent priced one so I can get back up and running/shooting.

Mine broke early too! I simply sent it in for warranty repair.

I'd love to see Black Dog Machine make a reinforced firing pin for Spike's kits--maybe if we all bugged 'em to, they would do so. They have a reinforced pin for Ciener, so why not Spike's?

And we definitely all gotta bug Spike's to lower their shipping. They have missed out on so many sales because their shipping is way too high. I have a short list of about five items I'd buy in a heartbeat if their shipping weren't so ridiculous.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, Spikes is pretty customer friendly. I would email Tom directly at acreativebuilder@aol.com and maybe suggest a better pin. They also have a repair kit that might be handy at times like these, if one should break you can send it back and they will replace it free. You might also want to get the heavy duty spring rod, the one without the e clip.

check there repair kits they sell, one of them has the firing pin and other goodies, the other kit has extra recoil springs. Should probably get both, but remember they do have lifetime warranty on all the parts.

I broke my firing pin as well, they sent a new one, no charge. I'm probably going to get a replacement in case the new one breaks again. But I noticed the new one was slightly bent so I polished it so it falls freely in the bolt. You might want to check that when you get your new one.

I polished it instead of trying to bend it straight because it seemed safer to do it that way, didn't feel like breaking a new one.

Look at the tyranny of party -- at what is called party allegiance, party loyalty -- a snare invented by designing men for selfish purposes -- and which turns voters into chattles, slaves, rabbits, and all the while their masters, and they themselves are shouting rubbish about liberty, independence, freedom of opinion, freedom of speech, honestly unconscious of the fantastic contradiction...
