    CTD is on crack

16 USD for 50 rounds of Federal Champion bluebox I dont think so
Cheaper Than Dirt! is America's Ultimate Shooting Sports Discounter, and we live up to that title. Expect bulk ammo deals, discounts, gun care accessories and more

    I even called to confirm
I think there is a mistake
I was paying 18 USD for 500 8 months ago

WOW, that's crazy expensive. Today I called a few walmarts and one of them actually had 22lr ammo, I was shocked. She said they had a ton of CCI mini-mags, so I'm off to pick some up.

First of all, do you have a time machine?

Well, they probably paid a high price and right now, they have some! So, they are willing to sell it for their asking price. If you don't like it, buy from someone else. Wait, no one else has any? Hmmmm, I guess the whole supply and demand thing works. This is Capitolism at it's finest. If you don't want to pay that much, you are free not to buy any. Someone else might be happy to pay twice that amount though.

My real question is, WHY THE HELL would you even consider buying anything from CTD or Sportsman's Guide? They are running scared of California so much so that they won't bother finding out what's legal to ship here. They just refuse to ship lots of things here. So, I say, make them work for their money and don't buy anything from them until they become California friendly. BTW, I also support their right to run their bussiness as they want to. I just don't have to support a bussiness which isn't being run in the manner I would like it to be run in.

once upon a time CTD used to be cheap. I remember I used to get Selliot and Ballot 45s for 7 dollars a box, with 9 dollars fixed shipping, I was getting them for 140 dollars a case plus 9 for shipping And that was just in 2004!!!

These days CTD is just....on crack.

Well, if nothing else, the Bush years will be remembered as the last golden years for shooting enthusiasts. Up until 2008 I could still order CCI from natchez for 11 dollars a box shipped.

My first ammo purchase from them last month was good I think, $4 per 20 wolf 7.62, and the shipping was under $10, now its not in stock or when it was it was higher a few weeks ago.

that is insane. after shipping you are paying almost $30 for 50 rounds. these are definitely priced to keep.

Man - talk about a hit-n-miss distribution issue. I stopped at the local W-M today, and the ammo shelves were practically empty. No .22LR at all, some .22Mag (so I snagged some), some 25 Auto, 44 Rem Magnum, a couple boxes of .223, and I think that was about it (not counting shotshells). Tell 'em to send some down this way!
