Hey all, I am a new Glock owner and I am looking for a .22 conversion kit for my G21. I have looked around a little and have seen the Advantage Arms 22LR Conversion Kit, and I was wondering if this is the only way to go? What others are out there, and would you go with AA or them?

I've had both the Ciener and the AA. The Ciener didn't work very well; the AA works perfectly. Pluses of the AA system are:
Locks open when empty
Less ammo sensitive than Ciener
Much better customer service than Ciener (who doesn't believe in customer service at all, apparently)I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!Comment

The AA kit is the ruler of all. Couldn't be happier with mine. Takes about 5 seconds to put on and runs almost perfectly with the recommended ammo.
Worst part is finding a kit and mags. I got a kit from this site and the mags from ambientsw.comComment

+1 on the AA. Didn't like the big weight difference between the OEM slide and the conversion kit, but it worked well and shot accurately. If it worked w/ 3.5# connectors, I'd still own one (my G17 has a competition trigger kit). Will probably buy another one for my G19 some day.sigpicComment

Well guys from what I am hearing its looks like its going to be the AA kit. I am probably going to go with the LE. Do you guys think the price in the link below is good? Or should I keep shopping around to find it cheaper?

I have a AA kit for my Glock 23. I love it. It is surprisingly accurate.
I paid a premium price for because of the long delay in delivery. I have an order in since May'09. I did not cancel that order when I got my my kit. I plan to try to sell it at a price that will compensate me for the premium that I paid for the kit that I currently have."A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine." - Thomas Jefferson

Why buy .22 Caliber Conversion for my Glock?
Why buy and use conversion kits for training, plinking or target shooting with the 12 year old
...if for $350 I can buy one of several nice choices in .22 caliber handguns and those work quite nicely for plinking or target shooting. You can buy a used Ruger MKII or... maybe a MKIII, those guns cost about the same as a good conversion kit and they are made specially to do their job...to shoot .22 cal.
Better off with one of each or in this case a Glock and some other kind of .22 caliber pistol and keep my Glocks for what they were made to shoot
...well, that's the way I see it and my opinion anyway!
