High standard revolvers are decent, but not great. I've never shot the double nine, but I have a Sentinel snubby and a Sentinel Deluxe 6", which are double action. Both have heavy triggers, and neither one is particularly accurate, but they're reliable and sturdy.

I consider them to be the best of the inexpensive DA .22 revolvers. I'd definitely buy another if it were cheap (like under $200) and in nice shape.

The Sentinel snubby is easily the ugliest gun I have, with most of the finish gone and lots of wear and tear, but it still does the trick. I've had it for 35 years, and it was beat up when I got it. It was one of my kids' favorite guns when they were young.

ya the triggers really hard but i realised that if you cock it back with your finger then pull the trigger like a single action its not half bad
          thanks for your input

If it's affordable then it's worth it. Old HS guns were well made.
