Cant go wrong with Ruger.
Itd be a good varmint and bobcat gun too. Shouldnt do much damage to the pelt if you plan on mounting it.Handmade Predator/Coyote Calls!!!

22mag is a great little round Ruger seems to be on the higher end of the price scale. Check out the Savage 93 series or the Marlin 900 series. Don't get me wrong I think highly of Ruger but they do seems to be higher priced than others. With the Savage you get the Accutrigger too. Another option of getting the Ruger 77/22 in .22 WMR is that you can buy a green mountain 17HMR barrel. Now you will have two gun for the price of one.
