Need Help With Bedding An Ultimate Ruger 10/22 Stock In OC

Hey guys,

I'm looking for someone in OC that can properly bed a 10-22 stock. Yes, I have read all the tutorials and info online specially on rimfirecentral but would prefer someone with expirience.

make sure you use modeling clay in the large space between the receiver and trigger group in the rear. I usually only bed the front and rear, but if you do the whole thing use a lot of that clay.

i got one of my actions stuck by not using the clay and rushing into the bedding job. That really sucked

trob, additional to clay and 2-3 layers of release agent, the trick is to remove the receiver while the epoxy is just setting in, soft enough to cut it with a blade but hard enough in order not to disturb the form when removing the receiver. For Brownell Acrglas gel, that is usually 3.5 hrs after setting in the receiver. I just did two rifles last night. I removed both receivers after 3.5 hrs and was able to trim and remove overflow epoxy with ease. Set the receiver back in and let it cure 2-3 more days.
