Went looking for and found the receipt from KIDD dated 7/07. He had shipped a "kit"..trigger group with a straight trigger and 18" SS barrel. About 560 at that time.

I installed the kit on a standard Ruger 10/22 receiver and added a free floated stock. At 50 yards, this rifle will consistantly group 1/4 inch (CTC) five shot groups with either Wolf ME or SK Match.

      None that I know of.

$75 OTD transfer fee is a good deal. Remember, you're also not paying tax.

So is it worth the $300, well I am going to find out for myself someday in the near future. Then I will be able to tell you first hand. But if you get one before I do please repost and give me your thoughts, as I am always open to hearing others opinions.

I've got an OD green one from before they had to re-anodize a batch and moly-coated them. Mine's the NDS-22R, railed model. It's not shown on that page. Looks like he's totally redoing his design.
What did you pay for it? Irvington Arms was trying to sell me one for $200 for a unfinished NDS-22R. I contacted Nodak and they told me it list for $140. So Im wondering what you got yours for. LMK

I paid $135 for mine. They were $140 if you bought one, or $135 if you bought two. I got one for me and one for the GF.

Is that one of those Butler Creek steel lip 10 rounders?

Did you have to wait 10 days for it? Because if you didnt I will drive pretty much anywhere in California to get one for that price. Where did you get it again?

It's a firearm, you have to wait 10 days.

Bought it from there, but it looks like they don't make it anymore and are re-vamping their design.

He bought two from Nodak at $135 a piece, and they shipped it to his FFL. From there he paid dealer fees + $25 DROS and had to wait 10 days.

This is the same process you will have to go through. Ask around for dealers with best prices. Mine does it for $50 including DROS. If purchased at $140, that would be $190 OTD. When you buy it, immediately tell your dealer so you can start the DROS before he even receives the receiver so you do not lose any days.

Edit: all he has are his other receivers at $110 shipped.

Here are his new ones so far. They are not yet finished:

Well we have begun production on the new NDS-22 receivers.

                        The basics are as follows;

The top of the receiver will be SMOOTH, no integral rail.

We have blended the back end to match the stock in a similar fashion to the factory one. It will be close, but not exactly the same.

The top of the receiver will have a flat for proper scope base mounting, no "hump".

It will be drilled and tapped for several different rails/sights.

One will be a 0 MOA

One will be 20 MOA (or close as we can come) for long range shooters

And there will be a rear peep sight available for "Appleseed" type shooters.

Here's some pics of one of the receivers, it's still in process and has lots of machining left to be done.

However, it gives you a good idea of the contour of the top and rear of the new design.

The flat on the top is about 1/2" wide, and will give a good surface for the scope bases.

The rear radius mates very well with the line of the factory stock.

Looks good! I would prefer an integral rail (since that's what I originally bought, heh), but if it comes drilled/tap for different scope rails that he'll be offering, that sounds good too.

Probably much more cost effective for him to offer one receiver with three sighting options rather than three different receivers.

I love my OD green hard anodizing though

I agree. I definitely like the integral rail more.

I know how much they are on Nodaks website, but the problem is my FFL wants just as much as the receiver to get it here. Sad...I know.
