So I picked up a GSG-5-SD CARB TITAN FINISH 22LR 10-RD SPEC ENGRAVE today at the Ventura gun show went with no intention of getting anything and walk away with this beauty. I have seen allot of good things about this can anyone chime in? I would like to thank CWS as they have given me great customer service both times I have purchased from them. Now I have to wait the 10 days. Talk about a tease getting a gun and not being able to take it home and look it over or go strait to the range.

I have no doubt that you will love shooting this rifle. It is a great gun and well made. I suggest that you stay with a top grade ammo such as CCI Mini Mags.

I got some federal bulk ammo. I am probably going to pick some up when I pick it up. How much cosmoline is in it? I have to pick it up in ventura and would like to go strait to the range in oxnard after I pick it up. If there is cosmoline then I guess I have to take it home and wait for the weekend I do like that it is the anniversary edition. Oh does that hudge fake silencer thing come off or is it part of the rifle?

Now I need to save up and get some more mags cant believe it only came with 1.

Next toy I will be an AR15 since I cant seem to find a Mossburg maverick 88 for sale anywhere.

I shot mine for the first time today. Worked perfectly with cheap federal ammo.

I like this gun but if we could have it without the fake can and shorter barrel it would be really, really, cool!

i think i fondled that one this morning :-)

picked up my gsg-5 today, and bought 5250 rounds of federal .22 at the gun show for ~ $250. if you need some let me know. I tried to cycle some CCI CB longs and to no suprise you have to cycle the bolt for each round. Was nice and quite though. Now i'm waiting on my GSG-5PK to arrive.

Did any of yours come with a sling? Anyone know any nice mods I can do to it? I have been eyeing this for months i said AR then GSG kinda went backwards. Anyways all help would be great this is my third gun. Even though it spits out a 22 the intimidation factor alone should stop someone from advancing into my home. What you see in the link to the picture is what I get.

how dare you fondle my gun lol. Did it say 1st anniversary on it and was titanium? I like it much better then the standard model. I picked up 1000 of federal I want to try some Winchester 22. Oh I cant wait nor can I sleep.

I walked by it 3 times saying no I will not buy it well now look were I am I got paid yesterday and have no money left lol. Is it legal to put a collapsible stock on one I dont like the butt stock that came on the gun. I want to remain legal. Would also like a scope I want the AWWWW factor at the range

i got the orange "multi" tool with a chamber cleaning brush and some paperwork. no sling.

seems like a pretty cool plinker.. AR is gonna be my next build. OLL lower with dedicated upper.

I have yet to measure but from what i read a folding stock makes the OAL too short for a CA rifle (26") however with a collapsible stock you are ok.

IIRC there is a whole section on ARFCOM about the various accessories for the GSG. Certain collapsible stocks would put it under the legal limit, but there are some out there that will allow you to remain at legal length.
