You can get a very reliable Rock Island 1911 for that price on GB and a few other websites.....

Someone correct me if I am wrong. The only way you can get this handgun is through a PPT. Your friend will have to be present in CA in order to do the PPT with you and he cannot ship it.

That's correct, he would have to buy it in AZ then move to CA after that he can sell to him via PPT.

Looks like a SW1911PD. Except the mold seam running down the middle of it.
