I am looking to build a lightweight AR-22, and would like some input. So far the plan is a Cavalry Arms polymer lower, dmps parts kit, Spikes dedicated upper.
Does the rail length determine what optics can be used? There is an option for a YHM mini rail, but I dont plan on using a scope and am not sure if it would be too short for iron sights. Would a carbine length rail be better for irons and possibly a bipod when shooting from a bench?
