Where to buy .22 CB Cap ammo?

    Hey guys,

I have been using some .22 CB Cap ammo and it has worked great to kill some crows eating up my grass and It is ultra quite so not to bother the neighbors. I have just about used up all my old ammo and am having trouble finding a source. Anybody have any suggestions on a cost effective source? I loooked online and only found ammo bank (100 rnds for $42).

Love to find a better price than ammobank.com http://www.ammobank.com/cgi-bin/csho...=%3A213%2D0521

    Any suggestion?

    Thanks in advance.

Uploaded a picture, it is the ammo on the left.

J&G Sales is a family owned guns and ammo business since 1946. We always strive to provide our customers with high quality product at low prices.

Not sure of the brand you are looking for but they have several.

Hey guys, guess a location helps, I am out in Palmdale, Inland Empire or Los Angeles Area on a regular basis, and if I can find a good deal online, don't mind ordering it there either.

I also uploaded a picture of the ammo

Try Midway. I've bought CB Longs from they, but I don't know if they have "CB Caps". You might want to try Aguila's Colibri also.

I think the CB Longs are a much better cartridge. They are the same power as a CB Cap - both just have the primer compound for propellent - and they will feed thru MOST repeaters.

I'm not too sure about that. I took a CB long apart, and there was some powder in it, so it's not just a primer. Also, the overall cartridge length is a bit shorter than a normal 40gr 22LR so they don't work in my .22 pistol magazines well (Ruger and Buckmark). They also don't cycle any semi-automatic weapons. I can use them in any .22 semi-auto (if they'll stay in the magazine), but I've got to manually cycle the action after every shot.

+1! I got my ammo there. Sometimes u need to backorder, but they usually receive it earlier than expected. Prices are fair and variety of choices is wide

Although I don't care to buy from Cheaper Than Dirt, they have the Aguila Super Colibri in stock:

Cheaper Than Dirt! is America's Ultimate Shooting Sports Discounter, and we live up to that title. Expect bulk ammo deals, discounts, gun care accessories and more

Thanks for all the feedback guys, I would prefer to stay with the .22 CB CAP's vs. the longs due to the noise level. I have found a number of online vendors but am suprised nobody in the area stocks them.

Anyway, thanks again for all the feedback.

jgsales.com has super colibri in boxes of 50 for $3.19. i think the aguila are no louder than the cb caps since they are both primer only.

$41.85 for 10 boxes of 50 shipped to socal.

I find cci cb shorts in walmart fairly often. ymmv.

the super colibris are by far the most quiet however they will not easily put down small varmits, birds, critters, etc. A 1000ft/sec .177 pellet gun would probably work better, but is louder. CCI CB Longs have been the best all around for close range plinking. Some of the RWS stuff works WAY better but is a touch louder.
