Ha Ha! I should have known better.... But really I guess I'm not understanding why someone would want a 10/30 mag if you can only load 10??? Can these be modified to fit 30? Is it just the tacticool factor? Well if anyone has a LaRue LT-135 mount that wants to trade for these mags then pm me...
I need this mount so that I can also attach my flip sights.

if you want to train on the cheap with your 22ar15 the full sized mags work with your mag pouches.

That's the reason I got 'em. I wish BDM would go back to the old followers too--I don't like how the bolt-hold-open followers prevent the mags from dropping free.

But they've said they won't ever go back to the old followers.

I read somewhere that you might be able to trim the bho follower down so that it will work like the old ones.

I have a couple of their current 10 round magazines, which are essentially 10/15 mags. I was having some trouble with the follower getting hung up on the little plastic "nub" that is in them to keep them from holding more than 10 rounds. I took them apart and used a Dremel to remove about .125" from the top edge of the nub. Fixed my problem and they're still only 10 round mags.

But I did notice that if the nubs were ground completely off, these mags would hold 15 rounds. If the 10/30 mags had the same plastic stopper nub thing, then theoretically you could grind it off changing the capacity of the magazine... should you ever move to a free state that is.

Blackdog was kind enough to send me a bunch of old followers when I complained about the new ones eliminating the 10th round in the 10/30s. Give them a call, they are easy to swap out.

The same nub on the 10/15s exists on the 10/30s so if you moved to a free state it would be easy to make them 30s.
