I bought a second Ruger 10/22 just for this kit. It's extremely well made, has beautiful wood, and was conceived by one of our own. You can't go wrong buying this kit. They are really fun to shoot. The only upgrade I have to do is the addition of the green mountain finned barrel.

thats a great deal 203 delivered plus my 75 ffl transfer .
compared to big5 260+tax+dros. thanks for the heads up. still thinking though the kit costs more than the gun itself.

Buy it. My only warning is that they are addictive. I own five and not one is in the state it was when I bought it.

I am working on my second, after only buying my first a few months ago. I bought the rifle for $280, and put about another $600 into it, and Im not even half way done with the first. I just need a second reciever for all myleft overs to go into once I am done. Yeah right! Then it will be my 3rd, 4th, 5th like others here. LOL!

I just bought a 10/22 a few days ago and want to turn it into a tack driver. Does anyone know of a good barrel and nice stock kit that I can pickup for it? I already have a 3-9X40 scope from my hunting rifle that I am replacing that will go on the 10/22.

I have used ER Shaw barrels and love them. They have and inexpensive 18inch blued bull for like $78.00 and then some nice stainless barrels of different configurations. They will make anything you want. If you know the configuration that you want then take a look at these guys:

They have some nice stuff and I got a barrel from then a long time ago and Dan is a nice guy to deal with, he will be glad to help with any questions..
