    ISSC Austrian Sporting Arms M-22

I will never badmouth a product but the M-22 comes very close to reaching my tolerance level. I bought one and have since traded it off -- and you may ask me why? First, let me present some pro's and con's:
Pros: Design concept of a miniature Glock-lookalike was fine.
    decocker was a great idea.
    safetys were excellent.
    price appeared reasonable.
field stripping was very straight forward.
Cons: M-22 failed to eject and to feed rounds about 1 out of 5!
(this was using competition grade ammo down to cheap and dirty)
pistol was too short for my paw!
pistol seemed very flimsy, not what I would expect in a Glock-like
    hand gun.
How would I rate this pistol on a scale of 1-5? About-> 2
If a person wants a reliable compact semi-autoloader pistol for target practice and plinking, I would steer clear of this pistol. If you want a pistol that is cute and unique looking but not worried about performance and reliability.... well, this might be a gun for you.

    You forgot to add pics.

    Here's one off the net.

Supposedly, it's designed/made by some of the people that made the Walther P-22.

There was not a lot of buzz about it at the 2009 SHOT Show, most described it as a cheap verison of the Walther P22 made to look like a Glock.

Since, it's not on the approved list, it won't be showing up in CA any time soon.

I also got an M22 and it works really well.
Using CCI Mini Mags and getting out minimum 4 to 5 Mags before first jam, for a cal. .22lr it's really good I think.
Before I chose the M22 I also hold the Walther P22 in my hands and it's by far shorter than the M22 so I guess it's going to be difficult to find a cal. .22lr pistol which fits perfect in large hands but in my opinion the M22 is close to it.

Overall I like it and have a lot of fun with it.

Im guessing that you both are out of state? This pistol is not on the roster so unless one is already in the state we cant buy one.

They could be LEOs, in the military and stationed here, FFLs (DOJ says they can order off-list), or moved here with one. There are many ways these can legally come into the state! Hell, you could add a sled, a longer barrel and bring them in under the SS exemption.

Too bad because it looks cool enough. If it doesn't work for a darn than f*** it. My Walther P-22 has always gone bang when I pulled the trigger.

um...my Ruger can run a whole brick of ammo without a jam. You need higher standards in you rimfire pistols.

I just saw one on the internet and love the idea of having a 22 lr G19 which it is.

It sounds like i should wait a few months to see what some more user feedback before getting one.
