I put an target heavy barrel from AR-7.com kit on my AR-7 now it is a jam-0-matic unless I use the few Triple K mags that I have or high end CI ammo. The original config digested any ammo from any mag with 99+% reliability. any suggestions on how to make this config more reliable?

I say sell the barrel and gte back to a ar-7 that works the way it was meant too... Just my opinion however...Comment

I had a lot of failures to extract with mine. I solved it by taking a file to the grove in the barrel for the extractor.Comment

You may also need to polish or otherwise slightly relieve the chamber. This can make a finicky gun into an "eats anything" gun.
Obviously, be careful that you don't loosen the chamber too much
If you're doing it yourself, plan to do the task in small increments, polishing out a little more each time.
