Problems...what sort of problems? If its accuracy you may just need more time with the pistol. If its FTL's well...join the others. It's just part of having the skeeter.

I was shooting my squito the other day, grouping was fine just a little low and left of center. This was at 7yds, then switched to next front sight and adjusted rear sight windage. But at 7yds the change in elevation was greater than anticipated so I went back to the front sight that was put on when I bought the gun. Then here's the weird thing...I changed targets just to my left and had it spot on. Next time at the range bring the manual to show you which directing to turn the rear sight....Hope this helps.

my skeeter shoots just fine. Its getting her to run smooth thats the problem. If i see mini mags in the stores and feed her those all is good...standard 22lr blows big time but ive never noticed accuracy issues with either

I don't get great accuracy from my mosquito, but I blame the short site radius, not the gun. What kinds of problems are you experiencing? It sounds like you aren't happy with your groups but it's hard to say without knowing where you are patterning and how large your groups are at a given distance. How much experience shooting pistols do you have in general?

This could help as well, but keep in mind the Mosquito does have 3 different front site heights. My gun was shooting several inches high until I swapped out for the tallest site. (mods, hope cross forum linking is okay here) http://www.makarov.com/graphics/targets/anatarget.pdf

Best bet is to shoot it rested on the bench - use your range bag or a sweatshirt if the range doesn't have sandbags. Aim carefully, pull the trigger sllloooowwwlly, and don't look at the target between shots - just keep aiming and pulling until the mag's empty.

That'll show you the best groups you can get with that combo of gun and ammo.

My Mosquito just plain isn't very accurate, even shot from the bench. My P22 is the same. I'm doing good to get 2-3" groups out of them at 10 yards. In the same session, my MK512 (MkII bull barrel) gets half-inch groups using the same ammo.

It's a fun plinker, but it's not something to shoot for accuracy or to plan to hand down to your grandkids (unless zinc goes way up in value by then).
