Woodsman respring.

My series 3 sport has always been fussy with some ammo and when a deep cleaning including carb cleaner didn't help I sent off for a wolf spring kit. (firing pin and slide return)

Just finished and that isht was brutal....BRU-TAL!

Took over 3 hrs and a little bleeding.

Hoping it runs like a Woodsman is supposed to now.

I have a Series 2 Woodsman, Sport. Adjusting the tension of the magazine lips solved any feeding, extraction, or ejection issues.

I have a Series 2 Woodsman, Sport. Adjusting the tension of the magazine lips solved any feeding, extraction, or ejection issues.

I have 2 original magazines and a Beretta mag that runs after a nominal modification.

Not sure if they might fit a series 2 as well but for $16 shipped might check it out.

The series 3 has a heel catch and the plastic Mag base was what needed modifying,

a series 2 with the mag release button might just run as is.

They all feed the hyper velocity stuff well but I would get maybe 2 FTF per mag with some other ammo, tried my best to identify the problem.

I haven't been able to put it up yet after working on it,

just rolling it over in my hand, throwing it up on a mosquito hawk and reholstering it only to have to pull it out again a little later.

The feed lips issue is one I've faced with a High standard I have them feeding from the Mag. rather than the feed ramp.

A logical next step though if this doesn't cause my fascination with this wonderful little machine to meet the rep for digesting anything Woodsman's have.
