Why did century stop bringing in the .22 aks? They seemed like good sellers and are legal almost anywhere (even here)

Since Classic Arms has changed hands & Century seemed to Give up rather than push Cugir arsonal folks to cut back on WASR 10's & GP 1975's and make some more Rimfires, and DD's Ranch & Atlantic were perhaps distracted by GSG family of Rimfires (But I wish a person in the know from those companies would come clean on if Saiga Rimfire is on way (Saiga said it was after 5.45 Rifles were introduced and selling here).
