    My new Tikka

Bought this about a month back.. Have only had a chance to shoot it once with CCI SV as the weather is not great here. But it shows great promise..

I cannot live with plastic..So it has undergone some transformations to fix those problems,LOL

I had a Tikka T3x Walnut stock here before it arrived.. Ditched the plastic one. I also put in a DIP Aluminum Trigger guard I like very much.. And bought a ND 15 round Aluminum magazine to replace the plastic one..

I may put it a aluminum mag release yet if they come back in stock anywhere..

Anyway I like it as I have it now.. I went with the 16 Inch barrel as it will be a suppressor host too..

Looks really good. The wood is classic. And well photographed.

That’s a looker. I went with the cz 457 pro-varmint suppressor ready for similar barrel length and threaded; I’m happy with it but it is not nearly as nice to look at as yours. Looking forward to some range reports.

A beautiful stock for a beautiful gun. I'd have gone with a boyd's for my t1x if only they shipped direct to California, but I may just end up going with a solution like yours! Nice stuff.

I also had to replace the plastic thread protector with an aluminum one..I could not take that either,LOL

It is Winter here yet and I am going back out with it next week when it warms up..Here is a kinda impromptu target from some casual shooting and sighting in the scope.. It shows great promise..I was shooting it from a standing position on top the car, off a pistol rest I have here..The two groups going straight down from the bullseye are 5 shots each, and the last two I fired after zeroing the scope..

I think with a more steady rest, getting more seasoned to the Rifle and less wind I can do pretty dang well with it..It was only at 35 yards too..

Ammo was CCI SV.. Not a great target to show off..But I will get a much better one next time out..

              Thanks for the kind comments..

Looks great. Will be fun with the suppressor.
You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
                  Come on...what harm??

Dang thats nice. Tikka makes some nice rifles too. I want one just like yours but in .22 WMR and stainless with fluted barrel. Does Tikka even make one in .22 mag?

That would stock makes it prime. I made a big mistake not buying that 2-3 years ago. What a regret. It is now about 650 here in CA. Should of, would of, could of for $500 2-3 years ago. I had to look up ND industries in CANADA for the magazine. Thanks and have fun when weather returns to "good shooting" weather.

                          Thanks

Wish my suppressor approval would come in. I will then get out and see what it can do as far as accuracy..

I like the ND mag..Mostly because it is not made of plastic.. Around 550.00 is what mine cost originally.. Have not seen the 16 inch in stock anywhere lately.. They make a 17HMR, have never seen a .22 mag version.
