    Savage MKII FV-SR

I rarely buy new Firearms but I needed a threaded suppressor host. I am actually pretty impressed by this little Rifle for the price.. Of course the plastic stock had to go though.. Why Savage would make such a nice action and put it in that awful stock is very questionable..

So I bought a Boyds At One stock without doing a lot of research.. It is a somewhat well thought out design..But again it had problems.. Why Boyds would make such a nice stock and leave all those sharp edges all over is again a mystery to me.. I spend about 45 minutes rectifying all that.. It felt like holding a 2x4 prior to the work.. sanded all the sharp edges with 80 grit and a block. Then sanded with 200 and 400..Then used my buffer and buffing compound for final finish.. It is actually a very nice stock now..

    Sweet!
There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.

It's a muzzle BRAKE, not a muzzle break. Or is your muzzle tired?
