Tried the CMMG .22LR conversion kit

I have a CMMG kit and it does quite well with most Hi-velocity products such as CCI mini-mags, Federal, and Winchester. The Remington "thunderbolt" had a few misfeed though. Keeping the adapter kit clean and lubed seems to help.

You are very close to having a dedicated upper already.. Get a Collar and a dedicated barrel and you are almost there.. I think very little of the SW 15-22.. Have my reasons and they may not bother some..But are huge issues to me personally,,The SW mags are very, very good though..

Try some CCI SV in your conversion.. All my dedicated uppers are CMMG parts builds, and shoot very well with that ammo, and reliable as can be..Also Mini Mags are very good in my stuff also..
