Love it!! However, i'm disappointed in CZ rings. You'd think they would make some rings specifically for the LUX since it has iron sights. I got the LUX specifically because I wanted iron sights. So why the hell would I want scope rings that block them?! lol

I ended up getting some $20 "Monstrum" rings from Amazon that have a big opening and lets me still use my iron sights. Hopefully they will hold zero but we will see.

Very nice rifle but.... take off the glass and go with irons, or go with a scope that has a smaller objective, so it sits in lower mounts and just behind the rear sight. Using a high clearance mount, so you can use see-through rings is a major compromise for the sight picture/cheek weld and quick acquisition, but if it works for your application, then it works. You don't even have a Monte Carlo stock or cheek riser. If you're young and can still see good, I'd have an aperture that mounted to the rear rail and take off the rear sight. With that hooded ramp front, a peep would be very fast and sweet, that's just me. PAX

So far, it feels pretty good. I'm going to the range next week to sight it in. I'll know after that trip if I'd rather just stick with irons or not.

I have the 455 FS (Mannlicher stock) in .22 WMR and love it. I am looking for the parts need to convert it to .22 LR, so that I can shoot cheaper ammo once in a while, though.

Nice rifle, I’ve used cheap Monstrum rings before, actually have a pair on my Ruger Precision 22 mag. It’s a tack driver with over 1000 rounds fired with those rings, no issue with losing zero you should be fine.

Thanks been really happy with it, it?s got the stock optic pic rail on it. Can?t remember the company I got the break from, it?s a standard pepper pot design with the perfect size for the barrel thickness. Nothing special think I paid around $35 for it.

With the original 30 moa scope base, are you target shooting past 100 yards? How do you like that Caldwell shooting table? I need to pick one up on Black Friday.

No it?s actually zeroed at 50 and I rarely shoot it passed 100, I know there is an issue with the stock pic rail and 22lr but it doesn?t seem to be an issue with the 22mag or at least mine.

The shooting table is very handy, I toss it in the back of the truck and take it with me out in the desert. But it?s not perfect, it?s a little short especially if you have long arms. The bolts tend to come loose often so check them or you might loose a couple in the desert like I did. Also the placement of the embossed label is right where your bipod will rest, that can be frustrating when trying for a secure footing. But overall I like it, it?s handy and portable.

Good looking CZ! I really enjoy my 457.

If you want you can set the trigger and get a Yo Dave spring, brings it down to a crisp break at around 1lb. Very nice for target shooting, but do use the safety.

I really enjoy the smooth bolt on the 457, which was a great upgrade from the RAR I had.

You will have to give a range report once it is dialed in.
