Brought my brand new Charter Arms Target Pathfinder 22LR to range yesterday. It has a 4.2" barrel, fiber optic front sight, and holds 8 rounds.
On bench top with support, at 10 yards, it shot 3" high, with the rear sight adjusted all the way down already. Ammo was Aguila 38gr HP Super Extra (box MV 1280 fps). Also tried Federal Auto Match and results were similar.
Called Charter Arms and they said they were not aware of the high-shooting issue. They want me to send the revolver back, but I plan to file off the rear sight a bit myself (~1.5mm).
For those who have the same model revolver, how does the accuracy go? Is mine an outlier?
