    Hammer Strut Support (Ruger)

I just installed this on my Ruger Standard Model. OMG reassembly is a breeze now. Why did I not do this years ago! I watched the video, and ordered one. Installation took less then five minutes. Reassemble, less then thirty seconds.

New, patented, Hammer Strut Support (HSS) makes reassembly of mainspring assembly into Ruger MK quick, easy, ALWAYS CORRECT. HSS installs in minutes with no experiece or special tools needed, and remains in the Ruger MK.

That?s pretty nifty, but I?ll be honest in the close to 30 years I?ve owned my MKII. I can count the number of times I?ve disassembled the gun for cleaning on one hand. The vast majority of times I just give it a whores bath type cleaning, after all these years and so so many rounds fired still runs like a top.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

I am as neglectful as you are - a good spray with Hornady One Sh0ot Cleaner/Dry Lube in the action along with a bore snake has been sufficient for decades on my MKII target, It still functions 100% and shoots better than I can take advantage of.

I like to take apart, and clean mine, if I know its going to be a while when I shoot it again. This little part just makes it so much easier to reassemble though. Food for thought.

^^^^^^THIS^^^^^ Absolutely no reason to do a complete disassembly on a Ruger MKI/II

Messing around with that dingleberry is the rite of passage of owning the MK series.

Will not work with 22/45 models.
