Laser Boresight 10/22

Hello All,

This got me confused. I laser bore sighted my 10/22 to my scope and I ran out of clicks on my windage. The laser is slightly still to the right. Can it be the laser? Its an amazon one. I read it could also be the rings but i am hoping its not. Not trying to buy a new set of rings. Anyone experience this before?

Sight it in at 50 yards, you'll probably do better. I do it at dusk so I can see the dot better, my neighbor's garage door is 50 yards from me. The 10-22's sighted in at 50 will usually shoot 1 to 1 1/2 inches high at 25 and 75 yards. Mine are all sighted for 50. A laser will get you on the paper, the rest is up to you to dial it in by actually shooting it.
