Match grade 22lr ammo?

Anyone know a shop in Southern Cali that carries a variety of match grade 22lr ammo i.e. eley, sk, lapua? Would like to try a box of each to figure out what my rifle prefers.

LAX Ammo has tons of various .22LR. I know they have Tenex for like $40 a box. They might have Wolf Match Target as well, but I didn’t notice.

You need to buy it out of state. If you don't have a COE+FFL03, you need to get the combo if you shoot 22LR for precision because your options for locally sourced high-tier ammo is nearly nil.

Everyone already knows about Bruno Shooters Supply, Creedmoor Sports, Good Shooting Inc, and Killough Shooting Sports. Those are going to reliable sources that honor CA exemptions, and who will also sell in small quantities (boxes instead of bricks). If you want to try any flavor of Eley, KSS is arguably the best retailer as you can select individual lot numbers (based on their inventory list) when you order.

I used to shoot benchrest smallbore once or twice a month, and ordered Eley Black Box for my 40X. 1058 was its preferred velocity or as close as possible to that. A Kimber 82G liked Wolf Match Extra best.

I hope the CA ammo purchase law gets overturned....

IMHO, the 03+COE combo is nearly a requirement for anyone active in the shooting sports in CA. Makes things much easier.

Champion's Choice also honors FFL03+COE as well. They're not on the Calguns maintained list, just wanted to throw that up there as an option.

What I found out about FFL03+COE is how easy process it was, especially the FFL. The COE is the piece that has the inconvenience (Livescan).

I've not seen any 22 match in the wild in so cal. All of mine have been bought online. I do have a few bricks of wolf match and eley laying around if you're interested
