I have a MKII, GSG 922CA, SP-101, and AA .22 conversion slide for G17 and G22 that are a lot of fun.

My first one is a Buckmark . It was fun to shoot but it is finicky when it comes to bulk 22lr ammo . I then got the Ruger Mark IV Hunter when it came out and my Buck mark has not left my safe since[emoji1].

Welp, sounds like snag a smaller framed buck mark, places around here have those... then I'll keep my eyes open for a Ruger mark series or maybe one of those mini 1911's. Not sure Ill like the smaller 1911's as I like full sized 1911's quite a bit, but if I find one check it out.
Cost of the gun itself isn't a factor so much, vs it being an easy to handle for noobies and something that doesn't have constant issues with failures to feed or stovepipes or failures to eject, for semi autos anyways. I'm not super interested in revolvers, no real reason other than i just don't like em.

The woodsman was a bit of a challenge when i first shot it 10ish yrs ago because it'd have a lot of issues with case ejection, but a super deep clean helped that. I suspect it needs a new recoil spring too, but I'm not looking forward to replacing that on this. The past 150 or so rounds I put through it have been perfect.

Worst case, I'll just keep shooting my woodsman and my 9mm pistols, lol.

Any Beretta that is legal there.

This Beretta is legal there I believe, its fun..Do not know about the rest I own..

Got to thinking, maybe the threaded barrel would not work.. So you would have to put the non threaded upper on..I have both. I have to wander why the Beretta 949 and the 76 Target I have are not on the Olympic Target list exemptions too..

Shame you don't dig revolvers but if you don't, you don't. Have been a few Ruger SR22s in the Marketplace. I bought one when they were on the roster in California and I have to say, women loved shooting it, it was small, stylish, fun to shoot. I sold mine because I like big guns with big booms and it was sitting around in my safe so I sold it when it went off roster but it was a sweet little pistol.

If you'll have women with smaller hands or kids shooting, it's a peach.

For my entry on this list, the Smith and Wesson 422, either 4 inch or 6 inch barrel.

Great little plinker, very simple to manipulate.

I currently have a '33 woodsman as my only .22 and i'd like to pick up another small pistol so i'm not putting so many rounds through a 90yr old gun (even though it shoots AWESOME).

                    So far, i've tried:
Walther P22.... the size, and smaller grip were nice, but lots of issues with feeding when i shot a friends. I don't think I'd want to spend money on one.

Browning Buck Mark: this was a fun pistol, it shot almost as well as the woodsman but the grip was a big on the big side for me.

I'm curious as to what else is out there, thanks.
My current favorite is a Browning Buckmark followed closely by a Ruger 22/45 Mark II but I just got a Browning 1911-22 but I don't think that's going to outshine the Buckmark.
If you felt the Buckmark grips were too large, you might want to try a Browning 1911-22 as they are definitely smaller.

Really the only downside to the browning 1911-22 are the sights. Wish they made the other slides available for sale.

AR22, your Beretta collection always impresses!!
You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.

Only have one 22 pistol right now, so I guess thats my favorite. Ruger Standard Model. Monday I'll have two.

I handled the Hunter about a week ago and was impressed with it?s fit/finish. Heavy sucker.

NIB price is north of $800. I?m going to take another look at it today.

At last count, I have 19 22LR handguns.
Variety is the spice of life.

My first was a Ruger Standard.
Your next should be a Ruger Single Six, S&W 17/617 or a Browning Buckmark.
