whichever one it likes the best... no really, I'm not just being a Bastard, every one is going to be different though a good baseline is the CCI mini-mags.

if accuracy is what you are after then you will do best to buy a whole bunch of different ones, try them out & then buy every bit of the same make/lot# ammo you can find of it... or you can just buy as much as you can of whatever you can find cheap & just have fun with it.

also watch out for subsonic 22 in a semi-auto as they may or may not cycle the action reliably

Hmm i've had no problems with any ammo i've tried in my Buckmarks , I admit I don't use crap or bucket ammo so that may be why. Ammo I use in my Buckmarks

          CCI Standard
CCI Mini Mags (HP & solid)
          CCI Stingers
          Aguila super extra
          Federal blue box
          Winchester Super X

I would not buy pricey target ammo for a Buck Mark. I save that for a rifle.
CCI Mini mag or SV , or the equivalent Aguila has always run well. The SV ammo tends to be more accurate.

Golden Bullets has done well for me, but I have had some issues with them.

Fed Blue box and Norma Tac has given me a lot more crap. I will never buy that 22 ammo again.

              This ^^^^^^^^

It also depend on how far you want to shoot, iron sight or red dot. For my old eyes, at 10 yards my iron sight is bigger than 1" diag. target so I am guessing. At 15 yards I can not see the 1" diag. target so I am more guessing.
Red dot with 5 MOA, at 10 yards the dot is about the size of 1" diag. target so I am guessing. At 15 yards the dot bigger than the 1" diag. target so I am more guessing.

For my two Buckmark Lite & Countour, the SV seems to be more accurate than the HV accross all the brands. The most important thing is just shoot and have fun.

Yah I just got back from the range tried a bunch of stuff. I put a vortex venom on it turns out from all the ammo I brought out cci standard velocity had the best groups. I tried Aguila super extra , Winchester 325, mini mags, fed auto match and cci standard. Had some trouble cycling the fed auto match though don’t know why.

Mine works with Auto Match, Blazer and Mini Mags, as do all my other semi-auto rifles and pistols.

No matter the mfgr, 2 barrels could come off the assembly line consecutively and like completely different ammo. Gotta try a bunch.

FWIW, my .22 likes Eley Target. Doesn't like Eley Match, which is "better" ammo.

But it also does pretty well with plain jane CCI.

Just gotta try a buncha stuff.

The latest batches of Auto Match has been crap as well. Poor QC, same don’t fire even with good strikes.

X2. For plinking it eats anything with a very low failure rate. If I want to try smaller plates or groups then CCI sv. It shoots Norma Tac-22 well but requires more mag cleaning due to the case lube.
