    Beretta 22 Rifles

Bought both of these from a fella on another Forum..I like and collect Beretta Handguns for the most part, but always kinda wanted one of these..I am not real knowledgeable on them myself..But I think the bull barrel Target one might be an Olimpia, the other a Sport Model..If you are not familiar with them, they are kinda cool though..They shoot both Semi Auto and as a Bolt action too..

They are both early ones I think in the early 1950s..

Never wanted two really, but he gave me a handsome discount if I took em both, so I did..May just keep the one I like best, and move the other along..

Going to have give the Target one a little love on the crack in the stock..Should be a straight forward repair to get it studied up and such..

Great pick-up, OP. I'm still kicking myself I didn't buy one of these when they were brought into the country a while back.

Yes I was always upset I did not get one when they came in also..Would have maybe saved me a little money..I cannot remember the exact price anymore when they had them at a couple different places..But maybe between 300.00 and 400.00 and tax and shipping added on I suppose..

I bought these two for 800.00 shipped, no tax..So in the overall scheme of things, probably not a real bad deal in today's environment..

Those are very cool rifles, OP.
You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
          Come on...what harm??

            Thanks

Never did anything with them as far as accuracy but did take em both out and ran a couple quick mags of both CCI SV and CCI Mini Mags through em..They functioned flawlessly like Berettas do....

I discovered something today when I took these apart for cleaning..The Target model is a conventional Hammer fired version..The Sport is a Striker fired version..I found it kinda odd that they ahd two Models using both a Striker and conventional Hammer fired mechanisms..

They both run equally flawless in semi auto and Single shot Bolt action..

Being a Beretta Collector of sorts..I wish there was more info out there on these..Just does not seem to be anyone who is much of a authority them, including Beretta themselves..LOL

Thanks for putting that up..It gives people the idea of how it operates..I love how the Top of the Receiver and Bolt assembly pops right off the top..
