    Remington Nylon 11

Saw this a few weeks back at a LGS and wasn't inclined to buy. Did a pick up of a Browning Challenger II and it was still there ....

I suppose the action is no different than the 512 type, except for the Zytel stock and fancy bolt handle. I've no intention of trying but from what I can tell, even though the gun has the typical single take-down screw there's no way to do it. Unless you drift out the barrel/receiver pin and slide the barrel out from the front, lift out the receiver.

Update: Checked YouTube and the barrel/receiver pin drifts out easily. Removing it, then sliding out the barrel and lifting out the receiver is standard disassembly.

      $700.00.

Aside from a Winchester 52B I think that makes it the most expensive 22 lr rifle I've ever bought.

I was at a Garage sale about ten years ago..Guy had a curious looking Nylon I have never seen..I had 66s and 77s when I was kid..So I knew about those..But this one looked liked yours and was a single shot though..It was a model 10..It was in great shape and he sold it to me for 100.00..I did not keep it long as a guy seen it, and gave me 800.00 for it..Only one I have ever seen in person to this day..

I used to collect Nylons and I never ran across a single shot one for sale even though I saw or purchased many of the rare variations. Never saw the smoothbore one in person either.
