Nice racks are much better. You can grab both sides of the rack to help stabilize while mounting.

No he probably meant 7000.. I have one. Its a 795 with bull barrel instead of the standard. All you need to get is just 795 mags and you're set. I got mine from cheaperthandirt back in october. Cheers

FYI -It the same magazine used in the bolt action Marlin 25 and model 70. Which you can usually find around for less.

Try Big 5, they sell them. If not Marlin sells them for I think $17 plus $8 shipping. Mark

                  Quit it with the bickering.

You can't find them....and if you do, it'll be a private seller, and he'll gouge you.

Marlin used to make one 25 rounder as a stock accessory to one of their rifles, but that was about 2 decades ago (IIRC).

Ram-Line used to make a 25 round magazine for the Marlin 80\Papoose, but it required modification, and still had plastic lips...which will break after 1000-2000 rounds.

Beyond that, Midway stocks a "National Magazine" that will fit the Marlin 80 that stores 15 rounds, but is generally a POS, and not worth your money...and for an extra 5 rounds, I'd just buy another OEM Marlin 10rnd magazine and reload before buying a magazine I'm constantly tinkering with.

But for your out of California, drooling pleasure (not mine, taken from RFC):
