Nice collection of 22s, thanks for sharing it with us.

When it comes to .22s I always think about if they function properly, mainly because 22 ammunition comes in lots of brands and varieties and isn't always up to the same quality production that you would get with centerfire ammo.

And although I've heard some of the charter arms / ArmaLite AR7 type rifle designs can be finicky, possibly due to bad magazines, the one gun of your collection that I know little about and would be curious to know how reliable it is with different types of ammunition, would be that little Galesi-Brescia Pocket Pistol.
That's the type of pistol I used to see at gun shows, back when gun shows were good, and wonder if they were reliable.

Nice collection of 22s, this latest gun and ammo run and price increase made me really get back into 22s.

I’ve always had at least one 22 rifle and handgun, but was not a regular shooter of them. But in the last few years my 22 collection has grown in size and use. Where before I’d maybe only shoot 22 once every other month, now I shoot them almost every range trip. Four different rifles and five handguns, have 10’s of thousands of rounds and always pick up 3 boxes every time I go to Walmart(they have a 3 box max policy). I’ve rediscovered the joy of 22 plinking and having lots of fun with it.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

The AR-7 has never given me any issues with ammo while the Galesi-Brescia can be picky at times with .22 shorts. It might be because the shorts I have are 50+ years old and I need to find some fresher ammo. The Hi Standard is for .22 long only and should never have Long Rifle shot thru it as those could damage the action due to the higher recoil force. Same goes for the H&R Trapper. I only run longs in it and never any Long Rifle ammo. As "junky" as it is, it is a very accurate target pistol that surprises everyone I let shoot it. That long barrel keeps tight groups at 10 yards.

Beautiful collection. I'm of the opinion one can never have too many 22's. Fun, functional, economical, and practical.

Thanks for sharing OP. That High Standard is the star of the collection. What a great pistol.

OP it looks like we both lack a 22 pump rifle in our rimfire collection. Been thinking about getting the Henry pump. First non-bb gun I shot was 22 shorts in a winchester pump at a parking lot carnival back when they still did that in San Diego in 1967.

Thanks to all for the positive reviews. The Hi Standard is a fine target pistol as well as the Diamondback Colt. They both belonged to my father as well as the JC Stevens and the H&R Trapper. The Winchester 94-22 was given to me brand new in 1983 by dad as a Christmas present. He told me he went through a dozen boxes at the local gun store and picked it out because of the wood grain of the stock. The Galesi-Brescia belonged to my Grandfather who use carry it to the horse races and bingo parlors. LOL
