Went to the LGS to pick up some 38 special ammo. Up on the rack they had a Henry H001 18" barrel. Mind you, I already have both the 22 lr and 22 wmr with the 16" barrel and large loop. Well, I asked them if I could get a closer look, Henry rimfires are my kryptonite. Before I even handed it back, I told them I'd take it, pick it up next Friday. I think I have a problem...

No, you have no problems. You are thinking clearly. Later on, check for Henry rifles in .357/38 spl. Not that I'm doing any enabling here, just some distant, sound advice.

I've been wanting one of those 357 carbines for a while now. But, they've been really hard to pin down since the Covi. But, it's on the list for sure!

My only regret is that I bought my Henry 357 about a month before they announced the side gates. Oh well. I love it, and it was a few hundred less than a 40 year old Marlin with no warranty.

That’s I a nice problem to have, I have the 18” its a darn good lever 22.

I was out shooting my big loop 16 inch barrel 22lr this morning before work. I can't believe that much fun is legal in California.
