    My daughters new rifle

Well I got my first .22 rifle the other day, I told myself if was for my 7 year old daughter to learn on....well we will see about that...

Bought it used from a guy, 10/22 receiver shows some wear, Butler Creek bull barrel, Hogue Overmolded stock, generic rings and 3x9 scope.....
for a steal $200...added a bipod from walmart and there she is

I may look for a wood stock just to shorten it up some for her since this is a bit long but in the mean time I will make sure it works all right and functions properly.

You are a good dad. May many a bullseye and squirrel head fall prey to it!

Good for you that your daughter likes to shoot. My daughter didn't. But, this is my sons' firest rifle in the background:

Now, my younger son shoots this:

Way to go!!! shooting is a great skill-set for young kids. I wish I had started at that age. I'm a noo-b to guns but since my first glock I've become addicted to guns lol

If you get a shorter stock for the rifle, just doubly make sure that overall length of the rifle after the new stock is at least 26" in length.
