Thanks for posting this - I was initially turned off by the AA kit for the exact things you called out.

Given that I'm (still) in Kalifornia, will AA provide 10 rnd mags instead of 15 rnds?

I have one for a Gen 3 Glock 19 that works well with relatively inexpensive Aguila .22 ammo and of course CCI- but not much else that I've tried.
It's a lot of fun when it works with acceptable ammo.

I have one for our Gen 3 G19s also. It is very well made and works without a hitch. Very accurate also, it is a good kit.

The AA .22 conversion I run on my XD-40 runs extremely well with any ammo I've tried in it. I do not recall a threaded barrel option however.

Yeah, Advantage Arms is still California friendly. They have 10 round mags available and non threaded barrels. I think when I was on there the other day they actually have CA designated versions of some models.

Reminder that CA assault weapons laws for pistols also apply to rimfire pistols.

A semi-auto pistol that does not have a fixed magazine and has a threaded barrel is an assault weapon. [PC 30515(a)(4)(A)]
              ^This includes rimfire semi-auto pistols.

It is a felony to make an assault weapon in CA [PC 30600(a)] and a felony to possess an assault weapon in CA [PC 30605(a)].

No reminder needed. But it's not so easy to just move out of Kalifornia...still taking care of an in-law.
