    Get rid of a gun?

Ok guys, i posted on here a while ago about my .22 not firing all the time. Well now it's gotten worse. A bunch maybe even 40% Failure to Fires, a few stovepipes, and it won't always cycle the next round in right and I'll have to remove it with a key or knife. So, my question is should i try to fix the gun or sell it and buy another? I don't have a single fully functional .22 and what if the ground squirrel zombies attack ya know?
    thanks guys

depends on exactly what it is, I'm usually a "fix it" kind of guy but there are a couple of designs which are not, can not, and never will be reliable.

whatever you decide, if you don't have a ruger 10/22 you need one

            I highly doubt it

I've never seen a 50 year old + 22 rifle which jammed (unless it was dirty, not lubed, or had a weak spring)

Its the modern potmetal and plastic junk that can have issues which is just not worth fixing.

It's an old marlin/ glenfield 75, which is just a compact version of the model 60. And no i don't have a 10/22, rememeber i said i don't have a single reliable .22 in the safe haha

Have you cleaned and lubed the action thoroughly? If you haven't, start there. Take apart everything your confident you can put back together properly, clean it, lube it, and try again.

I have cleaned and lubed it thoroughly. I've also tried different brands of ammo, and its all been the same.

First thing, what ammo are you using?
Run it with Mini-mags to see it is the rifle. Most Marlins don't tolerate Remington Golden Bullets bulk or most other bulk ammo but always cycle perfect with the Mini-mags. Some work with bulk but mine sure don't.
Check out the Marlin section on Rimfire Central.

                        Dont tell me.

The rounds get pinched as they go into the chamber and leave a distinctive 2 tooth marks on the round?

If so. change the magazine spring.

If theres a repeatative problem with ANY gun. Check the magazine.

I'm in the same boat you're in. My Marlin 60 has a feeding issue where the round gets rammed up into the area above the barrel. From what I've read most people had to swap out the bolt and get the feedthroat conversion. Not sure If I want to put more money into a the gun since it was just a pawnshop purchase or get a 795 at Big5.
